Auto Presentation

I am Belgian, what’s not common in winter sports. I moved to Switzerland in 2008 in a small mountain village, and it is only there that I started to do sport. I quickly discovered mountain running and ski-mountaineering. In 2013, I entered the Belgian National Team. 2016-2017 was my last year in the junior category, I managed to train very well, due to this, I got many podiums in World cup, won the Pierra Menta and finished 2nd of the Overall World Cup. Thanks to that, I feel ready for the next seasons in the senior category, but I still have a lot to work.

Passions

Mountains : it is for me the place to be. In winter or in summer, I love exploring the mountains. For New Year’s Eve, I went at midnight to the top of a mountain and looked down to all the fireworks around me, it was beautiful ! Next to my passion for the mountains, I am studying economics at the University of Lausanne.

Incoming Projects

2017/18 skimo season will be a new big challenge because the gap between junior and senior is big. Next year, I will take part to all World Cup races and maybe to a few Long Distance races as Pierra Menta and Patrouille des Glaciers.

Out Of Seasons Training

In summer, I practise mountain running. I take part to many races in Switzerland and I have been selected to take part to the European and World mountain running championships. In April and in October, I make a break of two weeks to be ready for the incoming season!

Apparels

For the races, I use World Cup 60 with the Titan Release WC and the GARA Helmet. I also use Skitrab backpacks because I feel them very comfortable.
